Delete Your Expo Account
This page explains how to delete your Expo account and the personal data linked to it. You can delete your account directly in the App, or by email if you cannot access the App.
Option 1: Delete your account in the App
This is the quickest way to delete your account. Your account is closed immediately.
- Sign in. Open the Expo app and sign in to your account.
- Go to your Profile.From the App's home screen, open your Profile.
- Select Delete Account. Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your identity. Enter your password to confirm it is you.
- Complete two-factor authentication. If your account uses two-factor authentication, enter the SMS code we send to your registered mobile number.
- Account closed. Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out. Your personal data is then permanently deleted within 60 days, as described below.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot open the App, you can ask us to delete your account by email.

What happens to your data
What is deleted
The following data is permanently deleted within 60 days of your account being closed:

| Login details | Your email address and password |
| Membership profile | Name, phone number, nationality, venue preference and notification settings |
| Identity verification images | The face and ID photos you provided at registration |
| Loyalty activity | Voucher and loyalty records linked to your account |
What may be kept
After the 60-day period, we keep only a record that your account existed, and any other data that is required for GDPR or legal purposes. We keep no other personal data.
Timeline
